I am writing this post as a part of my web development course. First of all, I would like to pay my gratitude to Amazon and Flatiron school for giving us this opportunity to study such a rich and flexible course within short period of time. There are two motives that made me select this Amazon program.
<h2>First </h2> The reputation of the Flatiron School>> I did my research on software development bootcamps before enrolling this course. Surprisingly, I could find only few institutes with positive feedbacks related to this field. And Flatiron school is one of those with promising results.
<h2>Second</h2>Why Software Development>> Amazon offered Amazon Cybersecurity Analytics course and Amazon Software Development. I decided to select Amazon Software Development course because of following reasons.
The most important fact is, we all know IT industry is booming every single day. Technology is going to play an important role in every industry. These days all business owners trying to improve their business by acquiring technology. Thus, there will be a lots of Job openings for Software Engineers and other IT professionals in coming years.so, who doesn’t want be a part of a shining and booming industry.
And the second reason is my passion to study IT. I posted my very first blog post using bloggers.com more than a decade ago (in 2009). At that time I tried to earn few $$$ by getting some AdSense (google AdSense) to my blog. :) , but it didn’t go well.
Also I have been studying few frontend and backend technologies recently. as a result of my studies, I was able to create very basic Web App using HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, EJS, NodeJS, MongoDB. Feel free to check it out.
And the flexibility of the industry also played a big role on selecting this course. If you are a web developer, Basically you just need to have a laptop and good internet connection to do your job. who doesn’t want to have a flexible job to travel and earn. In my case I missed Seabreeze, hot sand in Negombo Beach, King Coconut and playing Cricket in weekends with my friends of Lionsblood cricket club, St. Louis.. So If get employed in this field in future, I will be able to have a balanced and quality life with all my expectations.
